Prior to launching her professional career with Lafayette Eye Associates in 2012, Dr. Sahar completed extensive training and externships in several different modes of practice where she gained an understanding of ocular disease diagnosis, treatment and management. She participated in comprehensive eye examinations, cataract evaluations, hard to fit contact lens services, diabetic eye care, eye disease diagnosis & management and Lasik pre- and post-operative visits prior to joining our group practice. In addition, she completed an externship at the Philadelphia VA Hospital where she gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating eye disease pertaining to overall systemic health. In addition, Dr. Sahar has completed an advanced pediatric program at The Eye Institute. Dr. Sahar enjoys working with patients of all ages including children.
Dr. Sahar resides in Lafayette Hill with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
