At Lafayette Eye Associates, our doctors and staff are committed to providing quality, family friendly eye care

in a professional and comfortable environment. We provide the full spectrum of care including eye examinations, diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases, eye glasses, contact lenses, pre- and post-operative care and surgery. Serving the needs of the surrounding Philadelphia area, we strive to place our practice at the forefront of our profession, exceeding patient expectations as a one-stop-source for the delivery of eye care in our state-of-the-art renovated medical office and optical boutique.

Our doctors and medical team work together to provide high quality, comprehensive vision care. Primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes both eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing, our doctors and medical care team provide testing for eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye and other eye diseases tied to broader, systemic diseases.

Eye Exams

Our doctors and medical team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement and an eye health evaluation. Our doctors will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition. We would be delighted have you and your family as patients.

Contact Lenses

Not sure that glasses are for you? Struggled in the past to find contact lenses that fit and are comfortable? Ask the Lafayette Eye staff about the latest advancements in contact lenses. Innovation in the field of eye care have produced a variety of different types of contact lenses with a range of benefits. Rigid gas-permeable (RGP), scleral, daily-wear soft, extended-wear, extended-wear disposable and planned replacement are among the various types of contact lens options available today. Specializing in hard-to-fit lenses, our doctors will discuss the various options with you to determine which type will best fit your needs and lifestyle. There are many advantages to consider when determining if contact lenses are right for you and our knowledgeable staff is here to answer any questions.

LASIK

Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis, commonly referred to as LASIK, is a corrective alternative to glasses or contact lenses. Like glasses or contact lenses, LASIK is a method for treating refractive conditions including nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism. At Lafayette Eye Associates, our team provides pre- and post-operative exams for LASIK and other eye procedures. Call us to schedule an examination to see whether you are a candidate for LASIK.
