Dr. May Davoodi, MS

Raised in Louisiana, Dr. May Davoodi received her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Houston. Upon completion of her undergraduate and graduate studies, she attended The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Davoodi completed extensive clinical rotations focused on Primary Eye Care, Glaucoma, Scleral Contact Lenses/Custom Contact Lenses and Veteran’s Affairs. 

Dr. Davoodi has a particular interest and expertise in specialty contact lenses including those required to treat a variety of eye conditions which are not correctable with conventional soft or hard contact lenses. She utilizes these custom medical and therapeutic lenses to fit for a variety of corneal shapes and any degree of visual error. Patients with ocular anomalies such as aphakia, keratoconus, trauma, chronic dry eye, post-surgical complications, corneal transplant and even amblyopia.

Dr. Davoodi is a member of the American Optometry Association and Pennsylvania Optometry Association as well as the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. She previously served as the secretary of the Lehigh Valley Optometric Society.

Dr. Davoodi resides in Montgomery County with her husband and enjoys traveling, cooking, football and spending time with her family.
